Contemporary Arts Project
Last month TIG produced a classic set of Contemporary Art literature for longstanding client, Unilever.
The Unilever Contemporary Art Collection is displayed at 100 Victoria Embankment, and in other Unilever sites across the UK. The collection was established in the late 1970s and the primary aim was to create a more stimulating and enjoyable working environment for staff. Since then the collection has also grown to include pieces from the collection created at Lever Faberge in Kingston in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Many of these works have never been displayed in 100 Victoria Embankment before now. The collection reflects Unilever – thier history, their values and their place in the world. The Contemporary Art Collection contains works of art based on the theme of everyday lives. Their products touch consumers’ domestic and day-to-day lives. Focusing the collection on ‘everyday’ images and media reinforces their mission and values, and can give them an alternative consumer insight. It also emphasises their reputation as a creative organisation which values the arts, with a particular focus on supporting emerging British artists.
TIG are very proud to continue to work with Unilever and look forward to many more interesting projects in the future.
